Cancellations & Refunds

Because upfront funds are immediately committed to securing our private venue contract, all retreat ticket sales are strictly non-refundable. However, we honor the fluid nature of schedules and allow you to transfer your registration to another member of our book club community.

While the organizer will gladly try to assist by cross-referencing our official waitlist to find a replacement, the responsibility to secure a member to take over your room tier ultimately rests with you.

Liability & Responsibility

By registering, you acknowledge and agree that:

• You are responsible for your own health, safety, and well-being during the retreat.

• You release Kerleisha Jones/Black Girls With Bookmarks from liability for any personal injury, illness, loss, theft, or damages that may occur during travel or the retreat itself.

• You will consult with your healthcare provider about your ability to participate in retreat activities, if necessary.

Dietary Needs

Meals will include a variety of options, and dietary restrictions shared in advance will be accommodated as best as possible. Severe allergies should be disclosed during registration so we can plan accordingly.

Photography & Community

Photos may be taken during the retreat for community sharing and promotional purposes. Please let us know if you prefer not to be photographed. This is a community-centered retreat, and attendees are expected to participate with a mindset of kindness, respect, and inclusivity/
